A RA (Registration Authority) is an agent of the Certifying Authority who collects the application forms and related documents for Digital Certificates, verifies the information submitted and approves or rejects the application based on the results of the verification process.

Secorio has the role of a Registration Authority (RA) as an Affiliate of the Comodo Trust Network. As an RA we are authorised to do the authentication of certificate subscribers before certificates get issued. The actual signing or issuance of certificates is part of the CA’s responsibility.
