WHAT IS A PILATES MAT CLASS?
Pilates is a refreshing mind-body workout, which focuses on core stability and posture, aiming to lengthen and strengthen muscles. The exercises are performed in a very slow and controlled manner with similarities to yoga as the class incorporates relaxation and breathing techniques. Pilates increases flexibility, agility, builds strength and is a safe yet challenging workout. Taught by Ballet Austin’s Certified Pilates Instructors 6 Week Session – 1x a week • Wednesdays, 5:30 pm-6:15 pm • Thursdays, 7:00 am – 7:45 am • Thursdays, 11:45 am-12:30 pm • 6 classes in each session – $70.
