What is a normal turnaround time?
Under most circumstances, the time it takes to receive your first proof is three days. From there, we usually require twenty-four hours for each additional proof or for any alterations that need to be made to the original art. Once the final art is approved, you should expect your finished plates to be delivered to the printer within three days. WHAT SERVICES DOES GEI PROVIDE? GEI is capable of providing our clients with all services needed before a project prints. From initial consultation, through design, proofing and plating, GEI has the ability to give you a final product that will leave consumers wanting more. If needed, our staff will even make themselves available for press runs to ensure our plates are producing the best possible printed product. The typical turnaround time for most projects is two to five days. We are usually able to translate about 1300-2000 words per day and proofread about 2000-4000 per day. Extra time will be needed if your project requires DTP services. We work closely with our clients and translators to make sure that the translations are delivered within a reasonable time frame.
