What is a LIMS?
LIMS stands for Laboratory Information Management Systems. LIMS are information management systems designed specifically for the analytical laboratory. Typically LIMS connect analytical instruments in a lab to one or more PCs and provide ways to report analysis results. IQbase can be used as the image and image data management component of a LIMS. IQbase also has the ability to link to existing ODBC compatible LIMS.
