What is a keypads function?
Keypads, Consoles or Touchpads allow you to control and operate the alarm system. They can allow you to arm, disarm, or bypass your system, as well as operate many other functions. You operate your system by entering your PIN code(s) into the keypad, similar to entering digits into a telephone keypad. There are also portable keypads available that can be carried with you. Keypads usually are located near entrance doors, but for convenience they can be installed just about anywhere. Keypads provide the user with audible and visual system status of the system at all times.
