What is a Diplomate?
It is a status granted to a specialist who has gone beyond the specialty education and licensing requirements of the American Dental Association. S/he has taken a 3 or more part examination administered by a panel of experts and has demonstrated an exemplary level of knowledge, understanding and clinical expertise in the chosen field.
