What is a country profile? Is there a specified format and length?
All delegations are required to submit a country profile. The aim of preparing a country profile is to gain knowledge about the country being represented by the delegate. The profile should reflect excellent research work, systematic compilation and artistic presentation. It should not be a mere listing of facts, reproduction of downloaded data from internet sources or printouts of pictures. It should be a harmonious balance between text matter, pictures and art work. 17) What are the criteria for judging of delegates at BMUN ’08 ? Judging of awards will be based on the following criteria: • Realistic representation of the country, conveying a thorough understanding of the country’s policy. • Conduct and adherence to procedure during formal and informal debate. • Negotiation skills and use of language. • Knowledge of United Nations structure and function. 18) I still have doubts.
