A club sport is considered less intense in terms of commitment than a varsity sport. Unlike an intramural team, club teams hold regular practices and compete against other colleges and universities. Although it is sponsored by the school and the student-athletes compete under the Boston University Terriers name, they are not fully funded by the university. The Boston University Mens Club Water Polo team competes in the New England Division of the Collegiate Water Polo Association. Some of our division opponents are Dartmouth College, Yale University, Boston College, and Middlebury University.
