Then a difficult 15 hour written examination must be passed to become Certified. Hospital and Office care for problems such as obesity, stress, emphysema, and hypetension are provided. Simple problems such as cuts, sore throat and upset stomach are also treated. Surgery or Pediatrics are not done. An Internist is thoroughly trained to take care of all adult disease.
