What is 2nd Wave Feminism?
The 1st-wave feminism refers to those women who fought for the right to vote. Suffragettes fought through the 1920’s and 1930’s for the right to vote. Once they were allowed to vote, they fought for equality voting. This means they wanted the right to vote just as men did. Body: Second- wave Feminism was introduced in the 1960’s and ran through the 1980’s and into today. It was coined by Marsha Lear and is highly related to what most people call Third-Wave Feminism.
