WHAT INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS WILL LAPLAWD PROVIDE?
LAPLAWD will provide all infrastructure improvements generally associated with a domestic drinking water system. The general facilities, as described in the Service Plan, will include 8-inch diameter and larger pipelines, treatment plant(s), storage tanks, and fire hydrants. The Board, still to be elected, will make final decisions, but the general plan is to construct pipelines along nearly every county road, and state and federal highway. The pipeline will be designed by a professional engineer and will include all pumps, valves, etc…to ensure a properly functioning distribution system.
