What if there is not room in a learning community in which a student would like to participate?
In this situation, we encourage you to place your student on a waiting list by submitting the on-line advisor form and contact the Coordinator of Learning Communities at the end of STAR. Sometimes, students who’ve been accepted into a learning community end up not being able to participate, which creates vacancies. By filling out a waiting list form, you’ll ensure that the maximum number of students will be able to participate in learning communities.
