What happens in the cremation process?
The casket or container is placed in the cremation chamber which heats up to over 1600 degrees F., and the combined combustion and evaporation leave only bone fragments. These are processed into a fine powder, which are called cremated remains. The cremated remains are placed in a container and the family decides upon a method of final disposition.
