What happens if complications arise?

Law in Argentina and South Africa requires the client/patient to sign an Indemnity Agreement and a Consent Form prior to surgery stating that the patient is undergoing surgery at own free will and understands fully the procedure(s) and any risks and potential complications . Should problems arise and the procedure needs to be changed, the surgeon will inform the patient of the options so that the patient could make the best alternative decision. Should the patient not be able to make a decision the surgeon will discuss the matter with the person the patient has assigned as guardian or alternative contact person the client/patient has chosen to make the necessary decisions on his/her behalf. If necessary we will offer you a second/third opinion.
