Don’t how modern you are looking but I am going to go with past the the 1900’s and good is a relative term, here are some i enjoy. Coleridge, Wallace, Woordsworth, Bukowkski, Hughes, Stevens, Frost, T.S. Eliot. Those are just a few big names to set you in the right direction, hope they are what you are looking for, of the list Bukowksi is the modern and probably the weirdest.
