The DVDs are formatted to play in DVD players formatted to Region 1, which covers North America. However, if you happen to own a multi-region DVD player, I cannot guarantee that they will play in multi-region DVD players. All of the video is in standard definition. As an update, I have had several orders shipped out to customers in Australia, Germany, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, and all have reported no problems with playing the DVDs in their respective players. The video, when viewed on a computer, is sized for 720×480. If you are into technical details, that will be of some help for you. Most of the video inserted onto the DVDs was in the .wmv format, with some MPEGs in some places.
