WildBlue Communications has announced that it has presented a “Demonstration of the future of universal Internet access for rural America” near the Botanical Gardens in the Capitol District of Washington, D.C., illustrating what it sees as the future of satellite broadband Internet service. Officials at the company claim that the target audience were members of Congress, staff, and the media, and the road show was aimed at showing policy-makers and the public how it provides quality, broadband Internet access for unserved homeowners and small businesses in America. Those present were actually able to witness and experience its new accelerated speeds from and on its demonstration trailer.
