What does the term “saved” mean?

0

In Christian terms the word “saved” refers to a person who has acknowledged the Lordship of Jesus Christ over his/her life and has come to Him humbly and repentant, for the forgiveness of sins. This person then is in a continually growing relationship with Christ and is therefore saved from God’s wrath and justice. The condition of being saved is not just a one time event in a person’s life, but rather an ongoing relationship with our creator and redeemer. It will inevitably lead us to an eternity with our Lord in heaven!
