What does the show radio subscriber command output look like and what does each column mean?
Headend# show radio flap-list MAC Address Upstream Ins Hit Miss CRC P-Adj Flap Time 0003.6b4f.bf90 Radio4/0/U0 0 21180 148 10 0 9 Oct 3 17:34:23 A. This is the show radio flap-list command output on the HE. The flap list is an event detector, and here are the three situations which cause an event to be counted: • Insertions • Hits • Misses Note: Disregard the Power-Adjustment (P-Adj) column in this output. The P-Adj column applies only to cable networks for the show cable flap-list command Insertions First, you can see flaps along with insertions if a SU has a registration problem and repeatedly tries to quickly reregister. The P-Adj column can be low. When the time between two initial maintenance re-registrations by the SU is less than 180 seconds, you get “flaps” along with “insertions,” and the flap detector counts it. You can change this default value of 180 seconds if you want: Headend(config)# radio flap-list insertion-time ? <60-86400> Insertion time interval in seconds Hits / M
