What does the Jobshop do?
A. The JobShop acts as a liaison between potential employers and students who are looking for part time or temporary work to fit around their studies. We check that employers are paying the correct minimum wage and that the job is less than 20 hours per week during term time. We then pass brief details on to students. Students can then apply to those that look good for them. We also make sure that any suitable vacancies the University have are passed onto the students too.
