What does the Convert Lead form do?
The Convert Lead form takes the information already gathered about a lead and uses it to automatically generate a Contact record. The Convert Lead form also gives you the option of creating the following records, as well: • Accounts • Opportunity • Notes • Calls or Meetings Note: Only information within the Leads module will be converted. Information from modules related to the lead will not be converted, nor will the relationship with another module be carried past the Lead.
