All New Century Scholars are required to apply for financial aid prior to entering SCC. If a student qualifies for state or federal grant awards, these funds will be used first to pay for college tuition and fees. NCS funds kick-in after any funds awarded to the student through the financial aid process. The NCS scholarship program utilizes the collective value of the funds raised to benefit an entire NCS group. Some students may have all tuition/fees paid from the NCS fund – some may qualify for less NCS funding or none at all.
