What does “cut tag” or “private label” mean?
“Cut Tag” or “Private Label” may be mentioned in our product listings on items where the attached brand tag has been cut out, clipped, or has a large mark through it. These items are always first quality unless noted. There is a collection of brand name suppliers and manufacturers that do not allow us to use their brand names. (For example, O_d N_vy, L_nds E_d, and others) These are “private label” brands. The tags on the products they provide to us may be cut out, snipped, or have a dark line through the brand. This is also the manufacturers way of designating the item as a closeout or surplus.
