What Does AMC Do?
AMC advocates the benefits of music, music making and music education to the general public. If you have seen the coverage in national media like Time, Newsweek, Family Circle, Dateline and the Today Show, then you ve see the AMC at work. Last year alone the AMC netted 7.3 billion media impressions promoting the benefits of music, shaping the way people feel about music making.AMC joins forces with other organizations whose resources and expertise allow AMC to strengthen its message of music making. Most recently our allies include music groups such as NARAS, The Grammy Foundation, The American Music Therapy Association and MENC: The National Association for Music Education as well as powerhouses like the Justin Timberlake Foundation, Disney, Carnation, and Sesame Workshop.
AMC is a managing general agency specializing in auto-related business risks including, but not limited to: service stations, c-stores, lube centers, repair shops, carwashes, fuel distributors, fuel marketers, etc. AMC writes both package policies and workers’ compensation policies. Another AMC division is American Underwriters Insurance Company (AUIC), which is a licensed insurance company in Arkansas writing Personal Lines in each of Arkansas’ 75 counties. AMC also includes, in most states, a Commercial Lines/Excess & Surplus division. Finally, American Management Control Systems (AMCS). American Management Claims Administrators (AMCA) and Risk Engineering which bring value-added services to AMC’s customers and insuring partners.
