What does a NAPA contain ?
A NAPA generally contains 11 sections, including: 1. Introduction and background information on the country; 2. Synthesis of available vulnerability and adaptation plans and policies; 3. A framework for the adaptation programme; 4. An assessment of main vulnerabilities; 5. Potential barriers to implementation; 6. Identification of priority adaptation needs; 7. Development of a list of adaptation activities and projects; 8. A ranking of priority areas; 9. Identification of the most urgent needs; 10. An implementation strategy; 11. Project profiles for priority activities.
