What documents do I need to bring to Immigration Interview or Immigration Court hearing date?
We recommend our clients to bring to every Immigration Interview or Immigration Court Hearing all original documents previously provided to us. The Immigration Officer, Immigration Judge or Trial attorney may request the original version of the copies submitted. Original documents should include but is not limited to: birth certificate, passport, identification card, original tax forms, rental or mortgage agreement, paystubs or receipts; and when in existence: marriage certificate, divorce certificate, children’s birth certificates, spouse’s birth certificate, family’s (spouse, children, parents and siblings) immigration documents such as residence card or naturalization certificate, court disposition and any other documents relating to previous arrests and rehabilitation steps, recommendation letters and letters of support. Please also keep in mind that every present for you in your case must always carry a valid Identification card.
