What do the star ratings mean?
After you order on MrMenu.com, you will be able to rate the restaurant and the food you ordered if you are a registered user. You will be able to leave feedback in your account under “Restaurant Ratings”. Your ratings will be combined with everyone else’s to display an overall rating for each restaurant.
• 1 Star (Economy) Typically smaller hotels managed by the proprietor. The hotel is often 2 – 4 stories high and usually has a more personal atmosphere. It’s usually located near affordable attractions, major intersections and convenient to public transportation. Furnishings and facilities are clean but basic. Most will not have a restaurant on site but are usually within walking distance to some good low-priced dining. Public access, past certain hours, may be restricted. Typical National Chains: Econolodge, Motel 6 • 2 Star (Moderate) Usually denotes independent and name brand hotel chains with a reputation for offering consistent quality amenities. The hotel is usually small to medium-sized and conveniently located to moderately priced attractions. The facilities typically include telephones and TV’s in the bedroom. Some hotels offer limited restaurant service; however, room service and bellhop service is usually not provided. Typical National Chains: Days Inn, LaQuinta Inn • 3 Star
Chalet Star Ratings The star ratings are a guide to the level of the accommodation and service. They are intended to provide a comparison for properties in different resorts and belonging to different tour operators and are as follows: Budget – perhaps not the best location and a low ratio of baths to beds Simple – with better ratio of baths to beds and higher level of service Comfortable – mid range and good level of service Very comfortable – with high level of service – high ratio of baths to beds Luxury – the ultimate in both accommodation and service Where a half star is used this means that the chalet has something extra special within its grade. This may be the luxury of a private sauna or hot-tub for example, a particularly conevient location, sensational views, or just that indefinable ‘j- ne-sais-quoi’ which has made the chalet a favourite.
