What difference 4, 6 and 8 week wine kits?
The numbers 4, 6 & 8 refer to the number of weeks before the wine is ready to be bottled. In general, 4-week kits contain pure grape juice /concentrate blend(as an ingredient). 6-week kits contain both grape juice & juice concentrate. 8-week kits are generally made with a higher percentage of juice to concentrate, or may be 100% grape juice with no juice concentrate added! … 4-week kits are also designed to be ready for drinking sooner. The 6-week and 8-week kits will benefit from more bottle ageing, may be held in the cellar for a longer time, and may be expected to have a more complex flavour profile than a similar style 4-week kit.
