What did Baltimore get, with Felix Pie?
Baseball politics aside, Pie just couldn’t make it in the big leagues. At least not yet. He needs more playing time in the bigs to fully develop. Unfortunately, the Cubs’ patience (and options) ran out & they just can’t wait any longer for him. I always liked his speed & his glove, but his weak bat is what did him in. With the Cubs current overcrowded outfield, Felix is the odd man out. I’d like to see him develop & do well elsewhere. With the Cubs, he’d turn into the next Patterson. So much promise, yet so little delivered.
