A download is counted when you view a full-text paper/case study/company profile in either HTML or PDF format, or view a data/statistics table, a PDF report or an Excel spreadsheet. Viewing the same item from different computers will also be counted as multiple downloads, as will viewing the same item in different sessions. Viewing paper summaries or news stories does not count as a download.
