What color pickguard on Candy Apple Red?
Well, I’m thinking of trying a new set of pickups on my Silo Special (I change my pickups like most people change their underwear), but I’m also getting a bit sick of the CAndy Apple Red body/ Pearloid guard look, it was never something I chose- just the color that the best playing sounding and feeling guitar in the world happened to be . I’ve gotten used to the red (it’d be vintage sunburst in a perfect world), but I’ve never really been a big pearloid guy and it’d be just as easy to drop in a new guard with the new pickups (maybe even easier, as it eliminates the step of removing the old pickups from the old guard), so I’m wondering what you guys think would look good, any pics would be helpful and appreciated!
