What Causes Forehead Acne?
There are some internal factors as well as external factors that can be the cause of forehead acne. Due to certain hormonal changes that take place during puberty, production of sebum goes up, which then get collected into the skin pores. The oil clogged pores of forehead when exposed to dirt and dust get infected by harmful bacteria. This results in eruption of acne on forehead. The close proximity of the skin pores increases the chances of rapid spread of infection over the entire forehead area. Moreover, oil from the scalp also tends to aggravate the infection further.
