The Wolf Teeth — also known as canines or tush teeth — are found behind the space where the bit fits. Both genders have them, but on mares they are smaller and sometimes don’t even break through the gums. Sometimes the wolf teeth will interfere with the bit and need to be removed — a job only your vet should tackle.
