What are the rules for uploading sounds to Soundsnap?
1. Make the library better, not worse. (Quality over quantity…) Have a listen and upload only things that are ‘up to standard’. 2. You have to make sure that you understand Soundsnap’s terms of use and the Soundsnap license. 3. Make sure that you are the one and only copyright holder of your submission and that you are not violating any laws or rights by submitting your sounds. 4. The allowed formats are .aif and .wavs. (uncompressed, 16 bit, 44.1 KHz) 5. In order for your sounds to be found by other users, they need good tags and descriptions. Keep your description short, but include all important information. For example, if its a street ambience, write what city and what street it is and what time of the day. If its a car engine, write what make it is and if its a bird, try to find out exactly what kind of bird it is! Try to be specific! 6.
