If you are a baby – sorry…strollers, wagons and baby joggers are not allowed, but you can ride in a backpack for free! If you are a child (five and under) – you can register and will receive a finisher’s certificate, but will not be scored as part of an age category. If you are a rock star – NEW FOR 2009 – feel free to bring your portable music (iPod, other MP3 player, radio, etc.) and jam out on your headphones. Just please keep others in mind and don’t blare it too loud. If you are a veteran or active military – you have the option to request a special U.S. Military wave for runners or for jog/walkers (“M” for military runners, “P” for military jog/walkers). If you are a wheelchair participant – just mark “wheelchair participant” on the entry form. If you are a self-propelled wheelchair participant, we will place you in a wave according to your predicted finish time.
