The genre section of the MMD form is only used to perform searches by music genre online. Genres are NOT included in the print edition of the Minnesota Music Directory. Musicians are not required to select genres, it is simply an additional feature for the benefit of our online users. Musicians may choose up to four genres that describe their music. Please note: we realize that not every genre of music is represented. If you do not see the genre that reflects your music, please describe your type of music in the description area of your listing.
