What Are the Fines for Overdue Items?
Here’s a list of the fines from the Life Sciences Loans and Reserves page: • Books and CDs: $0.50 per day per item • Reserves: $0.02 per minute • Special journal Loans: $2.00 per day per item • Recalled items: $2.00 per day per item Remember, fines continue to accumulate even when the library is closed.
• Books, magazines — 15 cents per day, to a maximum of the cost of the item. • Music CDs, books on CD, audiobooks, and kits — $1.00 per day, to a maximum of the cost of the item. • Videocassetttes, DVDs, and video games — $1.00 per day, to a maximum of the cost of the item. • Interlibrary Loan items — Variable, depending upon the lending library. • Teacher Loans — 20 cents per day. Please note that there is no grace period for fines.
