What are the encryption levels and which parts of the Online Prior Authorization system are SSL encrypted?
The Online Prior Authorization system requires a browser that uses 128-bit encryption. To determine if your browser uses 128-bit encryption, click on “Help” in the toolbar of your browser and click on “About Internet Explorer”. A popup box or window will display. For Microsoft Internet Explorer, you should see “128- bit” next to “Cipher strength. If your browser is not using 128-bit encryption, you will need to download a 128- bit browser from the appropriate Web site.
