Changes in input data and algorithms result in a new release number, set by the GLAS Software Development Team. Products generated with a new release may be processed forward in time or reprocessed from earlier data. If reprocessed, NSIDC either deletes or hides data granules from previous releases, once they have been replaced by the current release.
