What are the different levels of cheerleading competition?
It depends. For example, in my state the high school teams compete first in smaller conference meets. Then they move on to Regionals, which is Eastern and Western sides of the state, then they go to States. The teams that win there can go on to New Englands. But that is as far as they are allowed to go. No nationals. I am not sure what the teams that go to UCA or NCA comps have to do besides qualify at Regionals. There may be a level before that which they have to complete. Again, I am not sure of the whole sequence of events. I don’t think all the teams go through Prelims at Worlds, but I could be wrong so you might want to check on that here:
