What are the different application statuses?
Closed Screening The position is closed and no longer accepting applications. The process of screening applications has begun and all applications received prior to the close date are under review. Interview candidates will be selected and interviews conducted. If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted directly. This process typically takes 4-6 weeks from the date that the position was closed. Position Open The position is currently accepting applications. All online applications must be submitted by 4:00 pm on the close date indicated on the announcement. Applications will not be screened until after the closing date. Cancelled Positions may be cancelled due to a variety of reasons including lack of funding, department reorganization, insufficient or unqualified applicant pool, the job offer being declined by the selected candidate, etc. You will be notified by Human Resources if a position that you have applied for is cancelled.
