What are the charges for the fixed WLL service?
The tariff for fixed WLL telephone, such as registration amount, security deposit, installation charges, rental, pulses for local, STD and ISD calls etc., are the same as those applicable to a regular wired line connection except the special deposit for subscriber terminal, for which following two options are available to the subscriber: 1. A special, refundable but non-interest bearing, deposit amount of Rs. 10,000/- OR 2. Insurance cover in lieu of special deposit of Rs. 10,000/- at monthly insurance charges of Rs. 20/- for the first year, in addition to monthly rental (service tax extra). Cost of battery and the other consumable items, when provided will be billed separately no matter which option is chosen by the subscriber.
