The benefits of being a member of the Greek community are endless. The Greek community offers leadership opportunities, character development, lifelong friendships, academic support and community and campus involvement to name a few. Belonging to an unrecognized group will not give you such opportunities, and many of the resources which would be available to you, aren’t.
