What are the Benefits of Being a Member?
The Alumni Association actively works to develop programs and services that will provide true value to members. Our group insurance rates are beneficial to those just starting a career and to those who are well-established. Many of our affinity programs like life, home, and auto insurance, and the Alumni Travel Program include a portion of net retail sales returned to the Alumni Association to use to continue supporting alumni services, publications, awards and to support the University in meeting its goals.Members receive special privileges on campus such as reduced rates for library services and access to facilities such as swimming pools. Each member receives the Green & White published twice a year as well as many other communications and newsletters from Colleges.An Alumni Card is provided to all members on request and is required in using some of the campus benefits.
Among the membership benefits are: • Use of The Mansion, based on availability, 365 days a year • Twenty-percent discount on hotel rooms, based on availability; room upgrades (also based on availability) • Access to private bar • Weekly Sunday brunch and Monday lunch and martini event; discounts for brunch • Yearly complimentary design and/or art consultation • Library program for Mansion book and music collection • Customized events (retreats, conferences, breakfasts, lunch, afternoon tea, receptions, dinners, etc.) • Access to pool and gardens for personal use • Corporate retreat and wellness center • No minimum monthly food and beverage charge • Complimentary “space” for up to 3 1/2 hours to accommodate your smaller size group—if more space is required, there is a charge • Preferential seating for all Mansion music and book-signing events.
