With a view to enhancing the quality of directorships in Canada, the ICD acts as a valuable resource for public, private, crown and not-for-profit directors, providing members with timely updates on governance trends and benchmarking tools.The features of ICD membership include:1) Networking with fellow directors in the community through nine ICD Chapters; 2) Subscriptions to the bi-monthly journal, Director, the monthly e-newsletter, Eyes on Governance 3) Access to timely research, surveys, and boardroom tools; 4) Access to educational events and roundtables hosted by the ICD Chapters; 5) Access to continuing directors education through the ICD and approved university programs across the country; 6) Information on tools that facilitate benchmarking activities against peers, regulatory requirements, and best practices; and 7) The opportunity to assist in providing public comment though the ICD on matters that enhance or threaten the role of directors.
