What are the advantages of working for the U.S. Army Audit Agency?
Recently, we surveyed all of our staff auditors to find out reasons why they work for our Agency. The most common reason cited by employees was salary. The Agency offers annual increases for successful performance that almost doubles the starting salary of entry-level personnel in just 3 to 4 years. Job security and potential for advancement were the second and third most common reasons employees gave for working for the Agency. Our workforce has remained at a stable level and should continue to do so. Further, with about half of the workforce in the Federal Government reaching retirement age within 5 years, there will be opportunities for advancement both within the Agency and DOD. Other reasons cited frequently were good supervisors, benefits, and recognition.
