What are some good old rap songs?
Not sure how old you want to go, but when rap was GOOD was around 86-94, so I will recommend some great stuff from that time period. Anything off of “The Great Adventures of Slick Rick” record, Special Ed (Youngest In Charge record), Boogie Down Productions (Criminal Minded or By Any Means Necessary) Public Enemy (It Takes A Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back) LL Cool J (Radio, or Bigger and Deffer), Big Daddy Kane, Kid N Play, MC Lyte, De La Soul (Three Feet High and Rising) EPMD (Business as Usual) Das EFX, Run DMC, Brand Nubian A Tribe Called Quest, Onyx. I could honestly go on for hours, but I think that should get you started on quality rap music. Hope you enjoy.
