What are part-time teaching positions like?
Ive looked into part time teaching and usually you share the hours with another teacher and share classrooms. Ive seen it split different ways. Some positions i have seen are morning only some are just for two days a week and some are for alternative days. Some teaching jobs are also just to cover PPA so these are advertised as part time posts. Either way as a part time teacher you will be sharing a classroom. My friend is part time and yes the pay is less depending on the hours you work but it seems like a good option to fit around your family life.
