What are my options on termination of employment?
An employee who terminates employment and who has less than 5 years of continuous service must take a refund of employee contributions plus interest at a rate of 4% compounded annually. An employee who terminates employment and who has 5 or more years of continuous service may opt to take a refund of employee contributions plus interest at a rate of 4% compounded annually or opt to leave his or her pension contributions in the fund and draw a pension at retirement age.
