What are Kelvin and CRI?

0

Kelvin is a measure of colour temperature. Light output in the range of 380-500nm is considered the daylight spectrum. It is translated as 6500K. This colour temperature is the closest to natural sunlight. CRI is the acronym for Colour Rendition Index. CRI Is a percentage value of the lamps proximity to natural sunlight. For example, a lamp with a CRI of 65 means that it is 65% close to sunlight. Metal Halide lamps are generally in this range of CRI.
